Allow me to make a case for this. The hierarchy starts at the sidebar, whose color acts as the strongest way to separate clusters of notes. Swipe sideways with two fingers on the trackpad to glide to the next one. I use this exactly the way I used it with Arc: to separate work, random notes, and uni stuff. Sometimes per-project spaces too. Inside a Space, pinned notes sit above the “ephemeral” ones, and nested folders are of course here.
