Microsoft quietly shipped image to 3D. TRELLIS.2 turns one picture into a textured mesh with full PBR materials. It runs on your own machine. Nothing uploads. Four billion parameters, and the license is MIT. The repo publishes its own timings: about 3 seconds for a 512 resolution asset and about 17 seconds at 1024, shape and material together, which is the number nobody believes until they watch it run.
