I've been experimenting with @DeemosTech more and more, and I'm still amazed by how little you need to get started with 3D these days. You can literally take an image, turn it into a 3D model, and start customizing almost every aspect of it. And you're not stuck with the geometry it generates. You can jump in, resize individual parts, tweak proportions, experiment with textures and colors, and even animate different parts of the model to make them move exactly how you want.
